Each Halloween fan has a favorite way to terrify others. Some of us are less scared of the night itself than they are scare of certain neighbors and colleagues who think of terrible surprises days before Halloween arrives. Some people would do anything to frighten others and they would easily do one of these pranks: Dressing up as a ghost and showing up in the middle of the street in a numb position, as you’re passing on the alley, alone. They would turn off the lights from source in the entire house and play with your mind for a while, while you try not to freak out. They would plan a terrifying surprise party for you, so you might find your home filled with zombies, grave stones and spider webs. Or they would send you on the internet funny Halloween ecards with shocking unexpected endings.

These people are the real reasons of feeling scared during Halloween, not the spirits which are haunting on the streets. On the contrary, spirits are quiet, calm and usually mind their own business. The living ones are the most dangerous. Have a happy Halloween, less scary and funnier!

The Halloween parties are not the same in all households. They can be casual, formal, wild, as they can be children or teenage parties. However, people are those who give the charm to any celebration, including the Halloween one. But no matter the theme and look of party you attend, the good time is expected for its success. Even though you are not entirely prepared for a night of spooks or you don’t feel as important as the main guest, you should try to get into the party spirit and, why not, to be the soul of it.

The way people act can set the tone of any celebration, and at Halloween evening we really should act in a surprising way. We could entertain others with our fabulous costume, funny Halloween ecards or hilarious dances, even by bringing with us some creepy craft item as a symbol for the party. So, let’s give a little help to our host and try to make a fun atmosphere to the party we arrived at. I bet he will be grateful and will repay us with a delicious Bloody Mary!

Halloween costumes are a must at every Halloween celebration. In fact, they are the most important part of Halloween and actually it’s hard to let this day pass without throwing an awesome party. Some of us don’t like to wait to win the lottery for buying an original costume. We enjoy being disguised in a funny, creative way at a reasonable price. And some ideas could be as economical as they are interesting.

Dressing up as a cartoon character it’s not only for kids. So what if you are more than twenty years? Put on some Disney characters costumes or any other characters you think about. You and your friends could dress as cartoon characters from the same movie. Beside Muppets, Disney evil witches or Wizard of Oz crew, there are some modern animations for Halloween that could make great sources of inspiration for a perfect disguise. Movies like “Corpse bride” or “Nightmare before Christmas” fit perfectly with Halloween atmosphere.

An expressive costume will be instantly recognized at any party and will bring memories from childhood. It’s not necessary to buy the costume. You can do it by yourself. It doesn’t seem easy but with the right fabrics and tools, after you studied carefully the model, you might do something great.

Other original ideas are food-related costumes. They have the advantage of being extremely funny, especially for kids and the disadvantage of waking up strange appetite in some people. They might want to have a bite of the delicious hamburger or pizza slice you use instead of cloth.

You have to be aware that someone is doing you a favour letting you alone all year. But tonight is Halloween so it may decide to haunt you a little. It’s not that scary, but you will certainly enjoy it. Choose your favourite Halloween ecard for this year’s Halloween. Browse through Halloween sections of ecard websites and analyse their ecards offer. Some of them are boring but some of them are really cool and original. I already chose my favourite. It has a little creepy song and an interesting animation. The singer’s voice is intriguing, and fits perfectly with the Halloween atmosphere. Because let’s be honest: Halloween gets into our houses and computers too. The scary images and noises let a tiny mark on our frightened souls and we don’t even recognize that we like to feel this thrill.

When you feel that tiny shiver on your back and the wind starts to blow in a creepy way through the windows at the house of that weird neighbour across the street, you might feel that it’s Halloween. Trick-or-treat you hear everywhere and strange little monsters walk from house to house with candy bags on their hands. You can ignore them but you’d better give them what they want, because you don’t know what are capable of some bad spirits that haunt your street this night.

Instead hiding under your bed and hoping the night will pass quickly, you’d better become a part of the magical evening that will arrive soon. Decorate your house with the creepiest things you find. Bake some spider-shaped cookies and send ecards for Halloween to your friends. The internet is always a safe place to stay, unless you receive a pop-up movie with a zombie or a screaming ghost. Be prepared, because usually the monsters and ghosts are not as big as you imagine. Usually they are about three feet and have a very pushy attitude. Be careful how you treat with them when you hear the “trick-or-treat” at the front door. Also, be aware of your playful friends who certainly had prepared you some nice, exquisite and terrible surprise. In fact, that’s the spirit of Halloween: feeling that your heart stopped beating at least for a few seconds and let at least one frightened scream out of your mouth.
